A massive thank you goes out to all our wonderful volunteers who helped to put on a great weekend of racing. 13 matches, 264 races, in a mix of continual rain on Saturday and blazing hot sunshine on Sunday! It was A&Ts biggest promotion in their 32 years history. A&T have received high praise and recognition from the hierarchy at Wigan Council and British Cycling. Four A&T riders - Reece Pollitt, Pawel Idziorek, Steve Harris, John White - performed with distinction in the Open Individual Finals, and John was also a member of the winning England junior team. After a little break to recover, the organising group will conduct an appraisal and debrief of the Championships and share that information. |
