Thank You
A very big thank you to everyone who helped out with the
promotion of yesterday's British Final at Gin Pit. It was
without question, the biggest and best promotion that we have
undertaken in our 20 years of racing at Gin Pit. Many thanks
therefore go to those who helped out with the track work
sessions stretching back from last winter's track re-laying, to
the re-locating and kitting out of the three new cabins, to the
preparation work in the weeks leading up to the finals, plus of
course the promotion of the event itself yesterday. So, it's a
big thank you to those club members who helped out, volunteers
and officials from other clubs, British Cycling, Northern
League, the Rotary Club of Astley, St. John Ambulance, Astley &
Tyldesley Junior Football Club, Astley & Tyldesley Miners'
Welfare Club. Plus of course, the riders, sponsors, official
guests and spectators who all contributed to such a great
atmosphere and a great day's racing.

A & T Clothing
We are offering those riders new to the club this year the
opportunity to buy their own club clothing to race for A & T in
official competitions. The costs of clothing are subsidised by
the A & T club.
Please complete the details required on the
order
form for the purchase of race shirts and trousers and
return, along with payment, to either myself or Linda Turnbull
before the end of August.
Additionally, we have some club jackets still in stock and these
can be purchased at the track. Prices are £15 adults and £10
juniors.
