Go-Race

Continuing good practice among Go-Ride clubs has included the sharing of ideas and working together to develop their clubs and cycling in their regions. Working in conjunction with British Cycling, Astley & Tyldesley CSC have taken this a step further and are sharing their sport.

Astley & Tyldesley CSC are hosting the North West Go-Race Grand Prix’s. These events are coach led competitions.  A & T juniors and other interested newcomers are invited to compete.  This series caters for young and inexperienced riders, in providing an introduction to competitive racing.

Cycle Speedway is fast and furious and will test everyone’s ultimate speed and is great fun because riders will be able to race several times a session, testing their new learnt skills.

There are six rounds in total, to be staged after the completion of each of A & T's home Northern League matches this season.  Riders need to wear helmets and be fully covered from the neck down.
