Astley & Tyldesley put in a much improved performance in the Northern Senior Fours League match at Heckmondwike. The return of Steve Mills made a big impact as he won two races to score an impressive 12 points. Skipper Damien Hack recorded his best ever score at this level, also winning two races and dropping just two points. However, despite a valiant effort from A & T, it was Sheffield who ran out winners, with Tameside pipping A & T by just 1 point for 2nd place on the day.
