Astley & Tyldesley have won the North & Scotland Junior Cup for the third successive year! It was a closely fought affair on a baking hot day at Hull, as the home side pushed A&T all the way, to tie the match and force a run-off. A&T's John White started from the unfavourable outside starting position, but pulled off a superb pass on Hull's Noah Lyon to take the race win and secure the cup for A&T. North & Scotland Junior Cup Final result: Astley & Tyldesley 45 Hull 45 Sheffield 30 A&T scorers: John White 15 (plus 1 bonus), Frank White 15, Oscar Belt 7 (1), Josh Pilkington 6, Riley Candy 2. There was another tie break race in the Senior Cup Final, but this time Hull's Jack Lister got the better of John White, for Hull to nick 3rd place from A&T. Sheffield retained the Cup, with Bury second.
