Astley & Tyldesley hosted the opening round of the new North West Go-Ride Grand Prix series at Gin Pit on Thursday evening. Several newcomers took part, although disappointingly none from the other Go-Ride clubs in the region. After a short coaching session, it was on with the racing. Ben Dickenson and Joel Partington ran out as joint top scorers, each dropping just one point, with Adam Watson and Matthew Turnbull finishing a further point behind. A wet grippy track saw three riders beat their personal best times - so well done to Matthew Turnbull, Ben Dickenson and Adam Watson.
