A & T contested the third round of the Manchester League Grand Prix series at Stockport on Wednesday. Once again, Tomasz Szwajorek was A & T's top man, beating British Champion Terry Norman on his home track, and losing only to Bury's Ben Scranage. Darek Kurkowski made a welcome return after four weeks' absence through injury, and he won his opening two races before understandably tiring. As in the previous rounds, A & T narrowly lost to both Stockport and Bury.
