Astley & Tyldesley Miners' Welfare / CTA Direct travelled to Hull for Round 3 of the Northern Fours and Junior League series. Work commitments prevented Chris Finnigan from turning out for A & T, and his absence proved crucial, as Tameside edged to a narrow 4 points win over A & T, with Hull 3rd and Goshen 4th. Tomasz Wlodarczyk was in great form for A & T, recording a 16 points maximum, with good support from Przemek Binkowski and Frank Finnigan.
